Lalitpur, Dec 15: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamahji has said the Nepal's Constitution promulgated on September 20 is the world's best.
At a publicity programme 'People's Constitution Amongst the People' held by Lalitpur sub-metropolis on Tuesday, DPM Rayamahji termed the constitution achieved by the people after grueling 65 years of effort as pro-people.
He added that the constitution drafted by the people's representatives guaranteed the rights of every Nepali citizen.
The DPM added that the constitution needs to be studied by every sector and levels as it mentioned the rights of indigenous nationalities, all classes, gender, backward communities, Madhesi, Muslims and Tharu community.
Referring to the demands put forth by United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), he said the government was prepared to address the proportional and inclusive representation and electoral constituency based on demography. RSS
