Biratnagar, Dec 13: One person died while two others were injured in a road accident that took place at Belbari-3 on the East-West Highway last night.
The deceased has been identified as Hari Prasad Khanal,53, of Dhulabari, Jhapa. The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ko.11Pa.4743) heading towards the east hit another motorcycle (Me.3Pa.605) coming from the opposite direction, according to District Police Office, Morang.
Khanal was riding the motorcycle and a woman who was pillion riding with him was seriously injured. She is undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar.
The first motorcycle rider Yadav Mani Dahal of Jirikhimti-8, Terhathum sustained minor injuries. RSS
