Phalebas (Parbat), Dec 14: An amount of Rs 11.47 million has been provided to the families affected by the April 25 devastating earthquake in Parbat district.
The Social Welfare Resource Development Centre distributed this amount in grant to the earthquake survivor families at Thanamaula and Bhangara VDCs of the district as income generation support. This support has been provided with support from Heifer International Nepal.
The amount has been provided to the women affiliated to the Small Farmers Entepreneurship Strengthening Project in Thanamaula and Bhangara VDCs to support them in their re-income generation, Project Coordinator Dinesh Raj Gautam said.
Gautam said Rs 5.07 million has been distributed to 338 women members of the 16 women self-reliance groups in Thanamaula VDC and Rs 11.47 million to 765 members of 19 groups in Bhangara VDC. RSS
