Kathmandu, Dec 15: Chairman of the Sajha Yatayat, Kanak Mani Dixit, on Tuesday, has filed a writ petition at Supreme Court demanding cancellation of the action initiated against him by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA).
The writ filed by advocate Prem Kumar Kafle on his behalf has mentioned that he was handed down a letter by a CIAA security person while he was about to leave for India on his person visit. “Harassing me without any reason by handing down the letter like that of a notorious international criminal is a setback on protection and promotion of law,” argues Chairman Dixit in the writ.
