Kathmandu, March 16: Police arrested two persons on the charge of abducting a girl child from Kathmandu on Tuesday.
Bhimsen Bhandari, 16, of Kavre and Binita Baskota, 16, have been charged with kidnapping eight-year-old Shamjhana of Balkumari in Lalitpur, daughter of Balaram Pandey. Samjhana had gone missing since March 14.
A police team, acting on a tip off, raided Purbeli Guest House in Chabahil and rescued Samjhana, who was kept hostage in 302 number room of the house.
Police said that investigation into the incident was underway. Bhandari and Baskota are currently living in Kathmandu. RSS
