Kathmandu, March 13: The Supreme Court issued an interim order in the name of Nepal Rastra Bank and Finance Ministry not to scribble on, and stitch banknotes.
The interim order was issued by a single bench of Justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana.
Earlier, advocates Anant Raj Luitel, Manoj Kumar Khadka, Prabindra Raj Joshi and Rudra Raj Pathak had filed a writ petition at SC arguing that stitching and scribbling on banknotes wears out these and violates the rights of the bearers. RSS
