Golbazaar (Siraha), April 1: A man died in a road accident at Lagadi Gadiyani VDC in Siraha district this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Manoj Kumar Saha, 25, of Harkatti-2 in the district, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Siraha, Eknarayan Koirala.

The accident took place after the motorcycle (Sa 5 Pa 7629) skidded on the road when he was on the way to Bajra Jhapuram Secondary School to drop his wife there for SLC exam, said police. RSS

Three injured in road accident

Dang, April 1: Three people injured in a road accident at Ameliya along the East-West Highway this morning.

The accident took place when a micro bus (Ba 2 Kha 1347) heading to Nepalgunj from Tulsipur met with an accident at the place.

According to Tulsipur Area Police Office, the cause behind the accident was brake failure of the vehicle.

According to police, the injured are Ashish Dangi, 40, Dhana Poudel, 36, and Samrachana Poudel, 9, of Tulsipur Municipality.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Kohalpur, Banke based hospital, it is learnt. RSS
