Khotang, July 27: Vehicular movement along the Diktel-Halesi Road, the sole roadway in Khotang, has been obstructed for the past five days due to torrential rains.
There is continuous rainfall in the district since mid-July. The route has been divided into three sections--Jayramghat to Halesi, Halesi- Mudeh and Mude-Diktel-- and all the sections have remained blocked for the past five days, according to Transport Entrepreneurs Association Khotang secretary Ram Kumar Hingmang.
