Kathmandu, Aug 2: The Deepsikha Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign for the treatment of artiste Laxmi Rana who has been suffering from kidney disease for the past eight years.
According to Foundation's Chair Deepsikha Khadka, it is not affordable for ailing Rana to pay over Rs 17,000 monthly for medication and so the Foundation decided to launch the fundraising campaign for her support.
Earlier, the foundation provided the earthquake survivors of Dolakha, Sindhupalchowo and Gorkha with relief materials worth Rs 2.5 million. It has been funding for tuition fees of 10 children of quake victims. RSS
